The ‘Strand Ephemera’ is a free sculptural event that has developed to be a locally loved, nationally significant. The event attracts over 100 thousand visitors annually. 2017 will be the biggest ‘Strand Ephemera’ in the 16 year history of the event, featuring an exhibition of site-specific curated works chosen from a call for Australian and International artists as well as a range of musical and theatre performances. There will also be a range of workshops, guided tours and photographic competitions. Find out more.

Leading the charge is Johnathan Thurston and Australian and Matt Scott, backed up by Jason Taumalolo and an outstanding lineup of state and international representatives and NRL talent, assembled by head coach Paul Green. The Cowboys won an NRL record of 11 out of 12 regular season home games in 2016, delighting passionate members and fans and delivering the exciting brand of attacking football they’re known for.
